Western Municipal Water District hosts an annual Earth Night in the Garden event that is definitely worth checking out! It is coming up on Thursday, April 19th from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. and it is a free, family friendly event. There are interactive games and prizes, lots of freebies from local community sponsors and a lady bug release. I have taken our girls in the past and they always have a great time there! Besides being fun, it is a great learning experience for them.
Parking is VERY limited, so I suggest getting there before 5 if you can. You can also park across the street in the Mission Grove Plaza and cross Alessandro at the Mission Grove signal cross walk.
